About CREAmS

Cluster of Religion and Education for Agromaritime Society

The Cluster of Religion and Education for Agromaritime Society (CREAmS) is a research group under IPB University dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary scholarship at the intersection of religion, education, and agromaritime development. Founded on the belief that sustainable progress in agromaritime communities requires both scientific innovation and values-based education, CREAmS brings together scholars, educators, and practitioners to explore how religious perspectives and educational strategies can empower society.

Our mission is to conduct impactful research, foster community engagement, and contribute to policy and curriculum development that reflect the needs and aspirations of agromaritime societies in Indonesia and beyond. We focus on a range of topics including Islamic education, religious values in sustainable agriculture, character development in rural schools, and educational innovation for coastal and farming communities.

As part of IPB University’s commitment to societal transformation, CREAmS strives to be a hub of excellence in integrating faith, knowledge, and local wisdom for inclusive and resilient development.
